Nathmaria Chronicles has always been planned as a trilogy therefore the series titles centered on the variations of "World..." mixed with what the story was. To begin, I know that since this is a new realm to define and explore, I would have to accomplish substantial construction and fabrication of every system my readers would be accustomed; government, social, economic, religious, and magical. Since I never liked to read and try to digest information dumps, I chose to use a narrative form of a story teller relating his travels and experiences thus revealing the world.
This worked well in explaining various people, places, and historical events in a entertaining manner rather than slogging through page after page of exposition. I called this person the Chronicler who is a local celebrity able to gather new experiences and collect stories as he travels to tell the old ones.
As an analyst myself, I would love to hear what you, my readers, think of this literary device.
